The M4 carbine is a shorter, lighter version of the US Military Forces’ M16 which first saw service in the Vietnam War. Designed by famed firearms designer Eugene Stoner for the ArmaLite Company in 1958. The M4 is used extensively by US Army combat units and will eventually replace the M16 completely
